Lots of our customers don`t realise how many different things we are able to restore or repair. Erica and Ian, our wonderful furniture restorers, mend broken antique chairs, polish tables beautifully, re-paint shabby old dressers, re-gild tired carvings and generally bring broken pieces back to life. We also re-upholster chairs and make new covers.
John, who specialises in glass, will polish your cloudy decanters and de-chip precious glasses. We have two excellent people who mend china for us and a third who repairs silver. We run a service for re-plating silver - useful for rubbed old cutlery sets that you love and don`t want to consign to a far away cupboard.
We can even put a patch in a precious old family damask cloth.
