Consignment, downsizing and inheritance services

We run a discreet, impartial and wise service that helps clients to deal with their chattels of all kinds. We help our clients to sort out chattels when downsizing or dealing with inherited items. Together with our associate, James Forbes, we work across a wide range of disciplines, giving gentle advice that will help clients decide which pieces of furniture, antiques, jewellery and general chattels to keep, which to sell and how and where to sell them.

Clients are happy to bring items that are suitable into the shop, where we will take them in for sale on a consignment basis. We are pleased to give impartial advice on how and where to sell antiques, jewellery and works of art of all kinds.

We will arrange and advise on how to achieve the best sale, whether this means putting items in a suitable auction house or contacting a specialist dealer who will give a fair price.. Sometimes for reasons of privacy, clients do not want items sold through the auction houses. Through an international network of specialist dealers as well as private collectors, we are able to gain fair prices.
